GOLD COAST-BNE-SYD

Salut!

Hi hi sudah lama tidak bersua nih gua di blog.. pengen ngepost tapi males ><

but now im pumped! haha gonna tell you a bit about my last holiday..

so last holiday.. i decided to join homestay in Gold Coast, Australia! hehehe how cool is that?!!

i was soo excited! never been to western kind of country before.. so it was really my first visit.

went there on 26 of june 2011 by singapore airlines with the 14 other kids; Ellen, Salama, Otis, Natasha, Chintia, Sabrina, Bella, Seruni, Aya, Vonny, and Alya. plus our indonesian leader named Sandrina Sarwoko..i love them! theyre so cool eventually, lol. first we had to transit to Singapore first then took off to Brisbane Airport in Singapore.

the plane was pretty empty, so i could jump off my seat and sit in the other seats. even lay my body, lol. arrived in Brisbane Airport on Monday, 27 June 2011.

Sesampainya disana, dijemput sama local leader namanya Andrew Phan, haha. this guy has vietnamese blood but he grows in Brisbane til now. He's a very nice guy, lol. trus kami naik bis ke Oxenford. Oxenford adalah tempat kami main, belajar, etc..etc.. di Australia lagi musim dingin pemirsa.. jadi berangin banget, apalagi di Oxenford yang tempatnya terbuka. Oxenford itu bagus! ada danaunya..lapangan basket..tempat barbecue, etc etc.

besok2nya.. gua lupa tanggal berapa, gua dkk ke Surfers Paradise. this place is soo...well windy.. sunny.. many hot guys! >_< hahahaha. sayangnya pas gua dkk kesana lagi hujan, ga deres sih tapi dingin banget parah plus berangin.

intinya disana belanja. habis belanja gua dkk ke water safety lesson. disini diajarin gimana cara berenang... (this is the part when i was very booored, karena gua udah bisa berenang ^_^v) pokoknya water safety kalo lg main di pantainya Australia. airnya gak dingin loh. suhu air kolam renangnya sekitar 30-32 celcius. tapi yaa kalo udah naik keatas..no comment, anginnya brrrr!

this is the house where i was living in for 10 days! tuan rumah namanya Gino Rizzolo dan Evelyn Rizzolo. Gino ini orang Italia.. Evelyn orang Filipina..

besok-besoknya cuma belajar di kelas. tapinya..kami bertemu dengan anak bule namanya Brendan Kantor! nyahahaha. this boy plays basketball like.. wow :O i adored him, lol. i played basketball with him! :p

keesokan harinya adalah Australian day! yay! we ate Australian food.. guess what..

sebelumnya gua udah pernah makan steak kangguru, jadi biasa aja.. hahaha. dan gua mencoba ini juga..

Lamingtons! :9 this is nice.. spongecake covered with chocolate and coconut spreads, yumyum stuff, lol

dan besoknya kami ke BRISBANE!!! lah..jadi selama ini lu dimana jund.. iya gua di Gold Coastnya. nah ini gua dkk ke downtown nya.. yaitu Brisbane! shop shop shop, lol

he..besok Minggunya gua di ajak sama hostparents gua ke Harbour Town. i loove this place! lol murah murah cui, trus lengkappp. gua beli simcard baru disini..hahahah

Harbour Town! i guess this place looks like Paris Van Java located in Bandung? yeah but i dont know cause ive never been to PVJ before..

DREAMWORLD!!!

disini ketemu kangguru..koala.. tapi koalanya tidur :3 trus nonton sheep shaving show.

we rode many rides here..my favorite was..

THE CLAW!!! aaaa...percaya gak gua naik ini?? hahahaha mangstab (Y)

GIANT DROP!!! nah ini gokil juga, 119 meter. bangsatnya...pas kita udah sampe diatas, kita berhenti trus didiemin selama kurang lebih 2 menit (itu lama bgt woy!!! ><) habis itu baru deh di drop... benar kata mas-masnya.. kepala lo harus kebelakang esp pas drop nya. karena temen gua kepalanya kaga kebelakang, leher doi langsung sakit, hahahahayy..

besoknya menghabiskan waktu di Oxenford buat bikin invitation untuk farewell party, aww!! time flies soo fast over there :( :( hehe

MOVIE WORLD!!

to be honest.. wahana yang di movie world ga seseru yang di dreamworld. tapi sama sama seru sih... favorit gua adalah:

Lethal Weapon. whooo gua naik 2x hahaha, seru parah. kaga serem sama sekali

tapi yang terkenal di Movie World adalah Superman Escape..

Superman Escape. hhh ini yang namanya geli....geli paraaah. isi perut rasanya keluar semua -_-

huhu besoknya graduation and farewell partyyy :(

sooo sad leaving Brisbane for Sydney! :( :( gonna miss Andrew, lol :p

trip continued to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

umm this city is colder than Brisbane cause its located closer to the south pole. but still love it, cause sun shining so bright over there.

so we arrived in Sydney on about 10am, yeah probably 11am cause i barely forgot. we went straight trough to the Hotel, this hotel is pretty fancy.. but i forgot the name though i think its Metro Hotel? yeah probably.. we dropped by here and put our suitcase in the hotel and left it for having lunch over at Darling Harbour. hungry girl over here!!! yea we didnt get any food on the plane.

HUGE LUNCH! i only ate the filling cause the bread was tough and i had coke for the drink. those stuffs dont go really well together..

setelah itu kami ke Sydney Aquarium! biasa aja..

sorenya ke Paddy's Market. sebenernya gak ada di jadwal gue dkk kesana, but we demanded Irwin (our sydney leader) to go there cause we had to buy damn things to bring to Indonesia, lol damn things i mean souvenirs.

Paddy's Market. pasar banget ya hahaha. tempat ini jualan macem macem, dari mulai souvenir sampe baju baju, yaa macem ITC gitu lah (padahal gua belom pernah ke ITC). harganya jauh lebih murah daripada beli di toko toko biasa. but still: made in china.

malamnya kami makan malam di Blackbird Cafe yang terletak di Darling Harbour. we passed this place so many times hahaha. Sydney Aquarium aja disini.. turun dari cruise aja disini..ckck

gua makan ini disana hahaha, namanya fish and chips. enak kok enak. i ate this for 2 days in a row for dinner. boring.

besoknya ke Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, dan Sydney Tower. if you havent been to those places when youre in Sydney, then you havent been to Sydney! lolz

Sydney Opera House. it was sooo so so windy over there. i wore my gloves, see? so chilly, damn cold.

after that, we cruised on a boat!!! yeaap, i love it i love it i love it. i didnt want to get off the boat, but we had to, so..

then we went to Sydney Tower, yup! this place is madly high...omfg. tapi gua bukan orang yang phobia ketinggiann jadi selow aja. dan yang phobia adalah........IRWIN!!!HAHAHA can u believe that? lol. pas di atas sydney tower dia bilang gini ke gue dan anak anak, "oh my God, i feel sick" hahahaha gue ngakak ngakak, habis kocak bet mukanya sih..

habis itu kami dkk balik ke Blackbird cafe buat dinner. and went straight to the hotel cause we're soo tired! gimana ga capek, tiap hari jalaan bok yaaa.. dari blackbird cafe ke hotel jalan..semua jalan. gapapa sih, disana mah jalan enak enak aja.. but there's a boy that always whined.. ughh

karena malam itu adalah malan terakhir kami di Sydney, kami memutuskan untuk menggelar (cailah menggelar) farewell party. yup yup. dikamar Salama, hahaha i like this guy, Salama. he's so sweet. kamar salama berantakan, asli, total. gimana ngga, semua anak nimbrung disitu, 15 anak ++ms sandrina. trus Andrew nelfon anak anak dari Brisbane pake hape gue, hehehe malemnya....otp doong sampe jam 1 sama Andrew, alone! :P whoopie my little dirty secret just leaked, lolz

!!!!so much love for them!!!

one thing..i dont like sydney.. banyak orang indonesia! hahahahaha trus rame. downtown Brisbane rame jg sih..tapi kaga banyak orang indonesia disana, trus kaga serame sydney! :p

but i love my trip to sydney anywayyy :D

besoknya kami terbang ke Indonesia..yup, holiday was officially over.. :'(

those were unforgettable memories.

it was quite a journey.

i love my friends.

i love everything there. the people. the house where i lived in. the food i ate. the people i met. the places i visited. ahh..

i wonder when i can come back there again?

maybe university?

or maybe i would marry an australian guy?

lol
